Midget AAA Falcons Make
Impact at SCTA All-Star Game

Zack Jones, Tanner Goode, Mike McKenna and Paul Sirignano represented the St. Catharines Zip Signs Midget AAA Falcons and played instrumental roles in helping the South to a 6-4 win over the Central side in Friday nights All-Star Game in Milton. Brandon McGregor was also selected to the team but could not play due to injury.

With the game tied 3-3 in the middle of the third period, Goode and McKenna scored on the same shift to vault the South into a 5-3 lead. After Central made it 5-4, Sirignano scored to put the game out of reach giving our South side the victory.

Jones, McGregor, Goode, McKenna and Sirignano have collectively played 23 regular season games with the Jr. 'B' Falcon's and as a result had no problem stepping up to the high level of play in the Midget AAA All Star game. Tanner Goode was selected as the MVP for the South side.

Based on their excellent performance on Friday night, Goode, Jones and McKenna were chosen to represent the SCTA at the next level as they play against the ETA on February 3rd.
