The Blackhawks struck first to the disapproval of Falcons
fans in attendance, when former Falcon Jason Aucoin scored an unassisted
first period marker to give Thorold their first lead of the night. Aucoin's
goal at 13:03 proved to be the only score of the period.

The Mountainview Falcons scored in the second period
to tie the game 1-1 at the 6:19 mark of the period. Dylan McInnis scored
his first goal of the playoffs on a shot that beat Thorold netminder,
Rick Scarsella, from the top of the left faceoff circle.
St. Catharines took the lead for the first time Monday
night with Daultan Leveille's 11th goal of the postseason. Falcons defenseman
Kevin Floris assisted on the power-play marker at 14:36 of the second
period.
Though St. Catharines owned a 2-1 lead at the end of
40 minutes of play, Thorold continued to lead in shots on net at 27-19.

Thorold opened the third period with a goal off a bad
Falcons giveaway which tied the game 2-2 just 1:35 into the period. In
an attempt to clear the zone in front of the Falcons net, defenseman Mike
Stone paused just long enough to let Thorold forward Jason Aucoin put
a shot past an unsuspecting Steele De Fazio, in net for St. Catharines.

A different Falcons team hit the ice in the third period,
allowing a second weak goal with only 2:08 left to play in the third.
Ryan Bellows walked in with ease and scored on De Fazio to give Thorold
a 3-2 lead and eventual game winner. The victory ties the best-of-seven
final series back up 2-2.

Attendance inside Jack Gatecliff Arena Monday night was
announced at 1,268 fans.
The next game in the series is set for Wednesday, April
2nd, inside Thorold's Community Arena. The puck drops at 7:30pm. Tickets
for that game are available at both Front Row Sports locations.
Game #6 of the championship series will kick off on Friday,
April 4th, from inside Jack Gatecliff Arena. Game time in St. Catharines
is 7:30pm. Tickets for that game will be on sale at the Donut Diner, located
at 261 Martindale Road, and the Avondale Store, at the corner of Scott
and Bunting Roads, both in St. Catharines. The Jack Gatecliff Arena box
