Falcons remain undefeated

The St. Catharines Mountainview Homes Falcons remained undefeated Sunday night, winning on the road in Welland against the Jr. Canadians by a score of 5-2.

The Falcons took over first place in the Golden Horseshoe Division of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League with the win Sunday night.

Scoring for St. Catharines were Chris Stevenson, Mike Nedilsky, newcomer JT MacDonald, Dylan McInnis and Chris Garbacz.

Steele De Fazio made his second appearance in net for the Falcons, turning away 39 of 41 shots for the victory. The Mountainview Homes Falcons were penalized for 42 minutes on 16 penalties for the match.

Welland's netminder Chris Wills stopped 28 of 33 shots in the losing effort behind his club. John Aitken and Dan Ellis scored goals for the Jr. Canadians.
