Falcons win on the road

The Falcons bounced back from a loss on the road against
Niagara Falls last Friday night by winning 4-2 Tuesday night at Buffalo
State against the Wheatfield Jr. Blades.
The loss kept Wheatfield winless on the season, and brought
the Falcons within two points of first place Stoney Creek.

Grabbing points for St. Catharines Tuesday night included
Daultan Leveille, Ryan Elbers, Stephen Ceccanese and JT MacDonald (EN).
Ceccanese also added an assist to collect two points on the evening, along
with Dan Ziraldo of the Falcons who tallied two helpers in front of the
posted attendance of 110.

Jon Meyer (PP) and Gene Naab (PP) scored for the Jr.
Blades. Both teams had 11 infractions called each for a total of 23 minutes
each.

Falcons netminder Steele De Fazio made 31 saves for his
third win of the regular season, while Bryan Kalczynski recorded the loss.
The Falcons next home game is Friday, September 28th,
when the Port Colborne Sailors visit the Jack Gatecliff Arena for the
first time this season, with a 7:30pm start.
