Thorold finally outshot the Falcons in the third period,
going 11-9 over the last 20 minutes of regulation time in the game. The
extra shots may or may not have accounted for the tying goal they scored
in the third, while on the power-play, from Shane Davidson.
Five minutes of 4-on-4 proved nothing, as the two teams
combined for seven shots in the overtime period, to place the game in
the books tied 1-1 after 65 minutes of hockey. The Falcons were called
for a total of 13 penalties Thursday night, while the home team tallied
16 infractions, including one during the overtime period.
The Falcons next home game is Friday night against the
visiting Stoney Creek Warriors. Game time is 7:30pm.
