The Falcons burst open with 2 goals in the third period to take a 4-0 lead over the Jr. Blades. Chris Garbacz and JT MacDonald (unassisted) scored the Falcons third and fourth goal, respectively. Brandon McGregor and Zack Jones assisted on Garbacz's goal.

Down four goals and desperate to change the tone of the game, Wheatfield forward Ian Braun squared off against Falcons defenseman Andre Abayof which signalled the end of the game for the Jr. Blades.

The Falcons added their fifth goal of the game at the 11:53 minute mark to give Leveille his second goal of the game, on the power-play. Adam Moroney and Dylan McInnis assisted on the play.

The game ended with the Falcons winning 5-0, taking their 8th win of the season and handing the Jr. Blades their 14th loss on the year.

Attendance inside the Jack Gatecliff Arena Friday night was 791 fans.

The Falcons play their next game on the road Saturday, October 27th, when they visit the West Side Arena in Port Colborne to face the Sailors for the first time this season. Game time in Port is 7:30pm.

November is already here fans, and you can catch your Falcons at home next Friday, November 2nd, when the Thorold Blackhawks make their way to the Jack Gatecliff Arena for a 7:30pm start. Don't miss this one as your Mountainview Falcons will be looking to bounce back from an earlier loss in October against their escarpment rivals.
