Falcons grounded in Port 4-1

Port Colborne owned the Falcons number Saturday night inside the West Side Arena as the Sailors cruised to an easy 4-1 victory over the visiting Mountainview Homes Falcons.

The Falcons were down 2-0 by the end of the first period and behind 3-1 at the end of the second period. Riley Sheahan scored the Falcons lone goal in the game.

Curtis Longland (2), Adam Shoff and Tanner McGowan scored for the Sailors. The Falcons lack of offence was backed in net by goaltender Steele De Fazio, while Brendan Sullivan backstopped for Port Colborne.

The Falcons were penalized for 13 times for 41 minutes, while the Sailors were called for 12 infractions totalling 33 minutes.
