30-Nov-2007 · 9:55pm

The last time the Niagara Falls Canucks and St. Catharines Mountainview Homes Falcons battled inside Jack Gatecliff Arena, the Canucks shutout the Falcons 5-0 in front of a stunned crowd.

To ensure that Niagara Falls would not blank St. Catharines again, the Falcons scored first after a scoreless first period. Falcons rookie Riley Sheahan grabbed the first goal of the game, on the power-play, at the 1:34 minute mark of the second period. Falcons defenseman Mike Stone and forward Chris Stevenson assisted on the play.
