St. Catharines wins 3rd in a row

The Falcons battled to their third win in a row Saturday
afternoon, snuffing out the Fort Erie Meteors 6-3 inside the Leisureplex
at Fort Erie.
The Falcons are (3-0-3-1) in their last seven games,
grabbing 10 points and jumping over the Welland Jr. Canadians in the standings
to secure 2nd place overall.

Fort Erie's playmakers on Saturday included Corey Miller,
Lucas Van Natter and Kyle Steckley.
Falcons netminder Steele De Fazio stopped 55 of 58 shots
to record his 12th win of the season. Richard Stine took the loss for
Fort Erie, allowing 6 goals on 55 shots.

The final score Saturday afternoon was 6-3 in favour
of the Falcons. The win pushed St. Catharines into second place, one point
behind first place Niagara Falls.
The Falcons play back at Jack Gatecliff Arena on Tuesday
in their next match when the Port Colborne Sailors visit St. Catharines
