Jr. Canadians stink on home ice

The St. Catharines Mountainview Homes Falcons went into
Welland's Main Arena Sunday evening for a 7:05pm start against the Jr.
Canadians. The Falcons stormed Welland's net every period, scoring 7 goals
against the home town Jr. Canadians. Welland grabbed one in a losing effort,
with a final score of 7-1.

Riley Sheahan, Daultan Leveille and Stephen Ceccanese
scored for the Falcons in the first period. Steele De Fazio stopped all
shots faced in the first as well for St. Catharines.
Newcomer Scott Madden, Brad Jackson and Dylan McInnis
scored for St. Catharines in the second period Sunday night. Ryan Joseph
scored Welland's lone goal on the night, short-handed and unassisted.

Ceccanese scored his second goal of the night in the
third period, making the final score 7-1 in favour of the visiting Falcons.
Chris Wills, who recorded the loss Sunday night in net
for Welland, was pulled after 40 minutes of play and replaced by Ryan
Dundas to start the third period.
The Falcons next game is at home inside Jack Gatecliff
Arena on Friday, January 11th, when the fifth place Thorold Blackhawks
travel down the escarpment to faceoff against St. Catharines. Game time
is set for 7:30pm.
